About me
I am from Colombia, and I have lived there almost all my life. Since I was a child,
I have been fascinated by the natural world and the mysteries of the universe. When I was young,
I became even more fascinated by the fact that mathematics allows us to understand and describe
natural phenomena.
This curiosity has driven me to pursue a career in physics, where I have had the opportunity
to explore the fundamental principles that govern our reality. I began my academic journey in physics
at the University of Atlántico (UA) in Colombia, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Physics. I truly
enjoy all areas of physics because each subject offers something new to explore and deepens my curiosity
and desire to further understand the physical world. I became particularly interested in theoretical physics,
although I also appreciate confirming and validating the beauty of theoretical explanations through experiments.
During this period, I took my first steps into scientific research, working on a project involving a simple quantum
system with potential applications in the emerging field of quantum technologies.
I later had the opportunity to pursue my master’s degree in Physics at the University of Oslo, Norway. During my
studies, I conducted research in condensed matter physics and quantum technologies. This experience led me to develop
a strong interest in computational physics, quantum chemistry, and quantum mechanics, which I consider powerful tools
for understanding and designing complex physical systems and for translating fundamental science into reliable technological
applications.
I am passionate about research and discovery, and I am committed to advancing our understanding of the physical
world through my work. I aim to continue exploring a wide range of physical systems while developing deeper
intuition and insight into the phenomena that govern our universe.
